The two new games, based on the upcoming High School Musical 3, allow for players to dance as their favorite Wildcats.

Disney Interactive is planning to release two new High School Musical games this holiday season to coincide with the theatrical release of “High School Musical 3: Senior Year”. The Wii game, High School Musical 3: Senior Year DANCE!, allows players to move and groove to their favorite songs from the series using the Wii Remote and Nunchuk. There are also multiplayer modes featuring competitive and cooperative play.

High School Musical 3: Senior Year is heading to DS and seems to be similar in structure to the Wii version but features a personality quiz in the beginning to decide which Wildcat you are most like. You will also be able to use the DS stylus and D-pad to “capture special photos to create a custom East High senior yearbook layout, to keep for years to come.”

Both games are scheduled to be released in Europe this Christmas.
